Hello,
I'm a new member and a very recent/newbie backyard chicken keeper. We are learning and doing the best that we can for our girls. We enjoy them, and are considering getting rid of our TV since the chickens are far more entertaining. We built our own chicken tractor, and currently have a 1 wyandotte, 2 arucanas(or easter eggers not really sure, both sources said they were arucanas, but I think they are easter eggers which I like too) and 1 buff orpington. One of the arucanas and the orpington were acquired a few days ago and are very new.
My husband and I have a small business and work as ceramic artists/potters by day and enjoy our chickens, guinea pigs, and garden, outdoors, and everything else before and after work.
I have found this site helpful in my learning curve, and decided to use it to help further my chicken education. I have never used a site like this before, and my computer skills are only what I need to survive, so forgive my learning curve on the forum chats too! If I'm doin it wrong, please tell me.
