Hi all,
Greetings from NW Florida. I have had chickens for the last 44 years, have an assorted bunch right now. Also have/had ducks, peacocks, guinea and geese. Plus 2 goats and my 3 dogs. Noticed that BYC seemed to be the google hit every time I had a question so here I am.:D Always more to learn.

Hi, and welcome to BYC, I noticed that you said you've had guineas, I am new with these and also chickens, I have been trying to combine my chickens and guineas, I've even put my guineas in another cage inside of the chickens coop, ,but my chickens still continue to peck the guineas when I try to let them out, would you know a way to help me with this?
 
Welcome to BYC, Jennifer. Glad you decided to join our flock. I had the same experience with BYC before I joined. Every google regarding chickens seemed to bring me to this site. :eek:) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
 
Welcome to Byc - you may want to ask your question on the guinea thread. Just put that in the search box and several threads should pop up.

Hi Blondey,
I had the opposite problem. I wanted the guineas to patrol the field around my garden. No dice, they insisted on staying with the chickens. :/ gave up trying to get them back to their area. Jennifer
