Newbie help... trying to locate buff Orpington chicks: Rochester NY

I live just south of the city and am working on getting a coop together and starting my first backyard chicken flock.

I'm trying to figure out the exact number of hens I can keep (absolutely no roo's). I'm getting varrying answers of 3 or 6. I'm planning on just getting 6 and going from there. I have a neighbor that is ready to start her own little flock too so we may be able to split them if needed.

So is there anyone locally that sells sexed buff Orpingtons. I would do straight run but with being limited I'd prefer to just stick to hens.

your best bet is to try mypetchicken or ideal poultry
