Newbie hen mama

Hello everyone, I am new to hen world. I have 4 girls. 1 is a that is a Black Copper Maran and the other 3 are unknown.
I awoke to a bloody comb on the biggest hen today. Found ferret-size hole in ground inside pen. Coop is kept locked at night and is secure so assuming she put her head into hole and something bit her? Lots of blood by comb so after reading your posts I am going to apply quick stop and give half baby aspirin for pain. I have no where to isolate her so have to work on that today. Any ideas as to prevent this mystery creature from digging inside and hurting my girls? cheers, Eggatha

, may want to put some smaller wire around the bottom so they don't put their heads through also bury someso the preds can't dig under
