Yes a weak neck is definitely a sign of possible wry neck. I like to use Poly Vi Sol (without the iron) it hits hard and fast. But Nutridrench will help. The little guy needs B vitamins, Selenium and Vit E to heal wry neck. If Nutridrench has at least the Vit B and the Vit E, it will help. Get some Gerber baby food too and with an empty syringe, squeeze a bit onto the tongue every hour. Babies can't go long without food.
Juyst dropped down four drop of Poly Vi Sol down. Given it little bites of feed now.
We where giving the Vitamin E and selenmium twice a day along with the Poly Vi Sol mixed with water twice a day and then egg yolk/water every couple of hours. I just gave it four drops of just straight poly vi sol
Well it was laying in my wives hand, kind of let out a little squeal and pooped what looked to be straight liquid.

It's always heartbreaking, especially when they are babies. 
You did EVERYTHING you could, you and your wife are the best. The little one knows how loved he was.
I generally drop onto the outside of the beak. It is so easy to cause a chick to aspirated, especially if they are already weak.
