X2 on that. Red Sex Links are produced by crossing a Rhode Island Red rooster with a silver gene hen, and they are egg laying phenoms, outlaying either parent breed. It's one of the interesting quirks of hybridization. You will get loads of eggs with those RSLs.
It appears that you have a couple of Rhode Island Reds (the darker colored hens with black tails) and some Red Stars (the lighter colored hens with white tails), also known as Red Sex-Links. Both breeds are egg laying machines!
Agreed.It looks like you have Red Sex-Links (the white and red birds), and production Rhode Island Reds (the red birds).
