Hi everyone!
I am new here and found this site while searching for info on wry neck. The info I found on this site has helped me with my Naked Neck, Gladys. She is doing much better now!
I am new to owning chickens, all though I grew up on a farm taking care of them on my own as an adult is much different. I have 18 total and all were supposed to be hens but I have one rooster. Lil Man, the Booted Bantam will be a busy dude!
I call them all my dirty birds and I love them all! Some are sweeter than others but I am working on it. I have had them since they were chicks so they are around 10 weeks old now. I have a silkie, Booted Bantam, red star, black star, and then 2 of each of the following: silver laced Wyandotte, RIR, naked neck, barred Plymouth rock, buff orpington, Australorp, & americauna.
My dad built me a coop and pen and I absolutely love it. I will post pics soon! I am in the process of planting more herbs around the coop for them to eat and for their nesting boxes. I think I have gone a little overboard, but it is so much fun!
Thanks for having me & I look forward to learning more here!
