Hi to Everyone! I'm new here today! I have just started a coop with 3 Penkins (2 hens one drake hopefully), 5 Barred Rocks (looking like 1 is a roo), 5 Speckled Sussex and 11 Rhode Islands that are all 2 months old now. I found this site a couple of weeks ago while searching for info on raising my flock and hit the jackpot! Thanks to all who post - very encouraging and helpful!! I ordered our birds after my mother passed in Feb. as a positive hobby (I already work 40 hrs secretarial & have a 30 min drive to & from) & now my hubby & 14 yr old son are helping too. - Looking forward to eggs someday!!
