I have 16 eggs in my incubator. So far so good 6 have hatched. My temp and humidity have been on point the entire process. My question is I noticed after the forth chick hatched my humidity shot up to 82%. Will this hurt my babies and if so how would you lower it? Byou the way I have been raising a few chickens for about 4 months now. This is my first time incubating! I feel like momma hen! I have been candling and watching them everyday with excitement! Love all my animals!

I haven't ever incubated so can't address your humidity question but this forum can:

Congrats on the 6 you have so far and best wishes for more!

Welcome!

Sorry, I too have no incubator experience, just hatches under a broody hen but the folks on the Forum N F C gave you a link to are your best bet.

Beautiful flock!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share more pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out
