To further my point, the hen in the new picture is potentially showing white feathers (indicating dominant white) which wouldn’t be coming from either parent in their mix. I think the wrong picture is being used to represent the mix:

You might be right about that. I was just thinking about the comb type, rather than any other details.

Yes, the Cinnamon Queen in Hoovers photo has a single comb.
But the description on the page says they can have either single or rose comb.

Maybe. The image they have now doesn’t show yellow legs either. From the other images you posted they do have yellow legs.

The other day I found information that said that Orpingtons (in this particular case, black Orpingtons) always have white legs. Then I immediately found other information that said that black Orpingtons can have slate legs.

And I said the exact same thing. This is why I stay confused, lol.

Keeps the hobby fun and always learning. Plus, there seems to be so many different breeds it keeps the hobby interesting. You can always get new breeds to raise.
