Newbie here saying Hi

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie. As in VERY newbie. I pick up my babies on Saturday! I'm very excited and a bit nervous but am extremely grateful I found this site before I got my chicks.

I'm getting a couple of Black Australorps and a couple of Partridge Rocks and a couple of Speckled Sussex. I figure I'll start with that and go from there.

How exciting for you! I started with just three little Golden Buff hybrids......now my flock is up to 17. How did that happen?!

I do have a speckled sussex hen--she should be laying her first egg soon, and she's really beautiful! Good choice there! Sounds like you have a nice variety coming!
