Ok, so we have recently moved to 12 acres and have decided to try to raise some chickens this year. Very excited and nervous but all of the info on here has been great. My question is that we have a 50gallon plastic utility tote for the chicks and all of the other materials needed, but I was thinking of cutting a rectangle out of one side of it and covering it with chicken wire so that the kids can see into the box without leaning over the top (I have bad visions of it tipping over
. Does anyone have any advice for a not so handy person to do this. How do you attach the wire so no one (kids or chicks) get hurt.
Thanks so much. We are getting super excited. One week before the chicks come and of course we had a snow storm today
