Hello All!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I'm very new to chickens. In fact, we don't have our chickens yet. We are adopting them as soon as I can get a coop put up (hopefully midweek)!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We are adopting 2 chickens, which will be our firsts and only (so far)
(3) What breeds do you have?
Australorp & light brahma
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Eggs & entertainment (so I'm told LOL)
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Knitting, outdoor activities
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married with 3 children, and a cat. We have a 19 year gap between the 2 eldest and the baby. As such, I am now a homemaker 1st, but also a network marketing specialist on the side.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC on a post about DIY coops about an hour ago, and I just joined now because it seems like a great resource!
