We live in western AZ, are retired & have 6 Lavender Orbingtons that are 8 weeks old. Purchased as a straight-run we’re fairly certain we have 4 hens & 2 Roos. We’ve pieced together a coop/run that we’re pleased with & tried very hard to predator proof it. It’s entertaining how different their personalities are & love it when the sunlight hits their silvery bodies. Looking forward to our first “cock a doodle do” & eggs.

Yes. We do plan to keep only one rooster. Not sure at what age though.
