Hey yall! Fairly new to chickens here, hubby and I both grew up on a farm with all kinds of animals, including chickens. This is our first time owning chickens ourselves and are excited to spread the knowledge we learn to our children. We currently have 8 baby chicks, I, sadly, did not write down or record which ones I purchased at my local TS. I kind of just went with one from a couple different bins, also picked up 2 bantams from Coastal. I believe I have 3 buff orpingtons, 1 Brahma, 2 easter edgers and 2 bantams.

I am big into gardening and am married with 4 kids, 3 cats, 12 fish and 8 baby chicks, approximately 2-3 weeks old. I found this forum as I was researching more about chickens and trying to identify the ones we have. I’m excited to be a part of this community and expanding our knowledge.

❤️Heather

Sorry some of the photos are blurry, my daughter helps me take pics at times, I do have more I can share from my other device.

I am terrible at breed identification in baby chicks, but I can tell they are all lovely babies!

Congrats on getting your own chickens and on joining this group of generous and knowledgeable folks who will be happy to help you with challenges and cheer your successes.

Welcome to BYC, Heather, and, I hope your garden is doing well this year!
