My husband and I are from Central NJ and have been dreaming of buying some property so we can keep more critters but have to wait until the economy picks up again. Until then we decided to splurge on some chickens. Last Saturday we went to the Poultry Show at the Sussex County Fair Grounds in NJ and fell in love with the Australorps so we ran home and built a chicken coop and are looking for 2 Australorp Pullets but havent found any yet. Ive been reading the forums here for a few days including the poultry show thread which really interested me since I was going there myself. I didnt see any BYC users that posted identification-details about themselves but I did see hypnofrogstevies white GMC Yukon in the parking lot! Im glad I discovered this website. I think it will be a valuable site for me, especially now that Im going to be a chicken mama!
