Newbie Hopeful in MN

Hi everyone,

I have been scoping out this forum on and off for the past year or so and finally decided to join. I currently live with my family helping to take care of my brother and the house. I'm very interested in homesteading and have wanted chickens for a while now but I'm still in the research phase. Mostly because, well its not my house. Hopefully next year we will have some Parents and i are still negotiating.

Anyway...Here I am! Teach me!

Thank you, He and his brother are both Rex. Though quite a bit bigger now. This picture was taken in May when they barely weighed anything.

Good luck with convincing your family. In the past we've managed to lure previous anti-chookers in with little chicks. After a while, when the chicks start following them around, it proves too much to resist for them...
