Recently introduced myself to the world of backyard chickens, raised our first chicks and have a tiny flock. I'm loving our new feathered friends and now I wonder how anyone can limit themselves to just a few! Looks like I need to buy some property so I can have more room for more chickens!!!

Sadly, we have also experienced the heartbreak of having one of our straight run silkies end up a rooster & potentially our polish too. Guess that's the chance one takes when wanting those cute little bantams!

Looking forward to learning a bunch here on the forum!!
