newbie in Colorado Springs

My mother and have 4 hens. They are a blast, 3 rhode island reds and 1 black orpington. Have had some trouble with bloody feet and a belgian Malenois that wants to play. Have consulted this site may times over the past few months. Finally decided to join. I look forward to getting involved. Thanks!!!

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Please watch the dog - they love to play with chickens to hear them squeak. When one stops squeaking (dead) they go on to play with another.

Dog has fun, chickens do not. You never hear of chickens killing a dog. It really is best if they never meet.
