Newbie in Michigan

We are in michigan and the owners of 12 pullets and 2 pekin ducks.Our girls have started laying in the last few days and we are SO looking forward to lots and lots of more to come!

I have only been here less than a week myself and already feel so at home here....(I think I am becoming addicted to this board)

Where in Michigan....I use to live in North Branch, that's near Lapeer, Flint, Davidson

My sister has a house and 2 sons left in Weidman, Mich just outside of Mt. Pleasant....
She has since moved here to Florida but still has her house up there because bad timing on the
housing market....

Now we live in Tarpon Springs, FL just north of Clearwater and just West of Tampa

Yep we are close to lapeer, lake Orion
yeah i can tell already that chickens are addictive, im already trying to figure out what i can add in the spring, i would like to get a couple of Bramas, I like the idea of getting some of the rarer breeds, we are on 5 acres but the coop is gonna have to be expanded outside to add any more
