I've been lurking for awhile, finally decided to join. I'm 23, married, have a one year old daughter, a LH chihuahua, a Standard Poodle, two Cornish Rex cats, Various Fish both saltwater and fresh water, and of course, we have chickens! We currently have 8 Bantam Ameraucanas. 3 roosters and 5 hens. Our pen is a 12X12 separated into three runs that I have my girls split up between my guys. I'm partial to roosters, just love them. Planning on ordering some Silky ducks from Holderreads, so if anyone has had any experience with ordering their silky duckings, I'd love to hear about your experience! My wonderful Husband feeds my obsessions pretty well and never complains about the tons of animals we constantly have in and out of our house, and as such is letting me order a Brinsea incubator! I've raised chicks and ducklings before, but never incubated eggs, and Brinsea seems to be pretty idiot proof? I certainly hope so, as we're planning on ordering the Octagon 20 ADVANCE EX digital egg incubator? Anyone that has any feedback on this would be greatly appreciated.
