Newbie in poultry raising but learning a lot here in IL.

Hi everyone my name is Cindy. I live in IL. I have flocks in two different locations. I have a mixed flock of 18 chickens at my home. I also have 5 baby keets hatched in my incubators so far tomorrow is actual hatch day. Expecting at least 4 more. They will be taken to grandpas asap. 28 more keets are expecting to hatch in my next set. At grandpas we have 12 guineas and we ordered a surprise package from the hatchery received them last week. I'm not sure what all we got yet but know we have at least 2 ducks, 2 turkeys, and 2 naked necks not sure what the other 38 chicks are. They are all different sizes and colors.

The surprise package sounds neat - kinda like Xmas - lots of presents all different shapes, colors and sizes

and greetings from middle Tennessee. the surprise pack of poultry does sound exciting. let us know what you get.... i know i like surprises and i am sure everyone else here wants to know too. i get all excited when i get mystery eggs to hatch so i could imagine how excited you are.

thank you for the welcomes. the keets are a gray color not sure technical name and pearl. i know there are buttercups and naked necks still guessing at the rest. 5 are feather footed. i don't see any top hats or do those develop later? would like to have a light Brahma and daughter wants polish. there is definitely a lot of colors.
