Hi there!
I'm new to chickens... we were adopting some 1 year pullets... but they got got by a mountain lion (they were living in the Santa Cruz mountains) before we could pick them up :-( So now i have a coop and no chooks.
I'm looking to get some coop-ready pullets -- Orpingtons, Brahmas, Wynadottes, Easter Eggers -- but am struggling to find somewhere/someplace that is trustworthy (i.e., has well-treated and vaccinated chickens).
I've looked at Mill Valley Chickens but seen mixed reviews. I'd love recommendations. I really did want to get going before the spring (and don't want to go the baby chick route).
Looking forward to learning more from y'all and getting lots of great advice.
Thanks!
