I just have to say, this site is loaded with information.

I have been working through the material in the learning center. In addition to coop design I am also looking at the homemade feed options. And homemade feeders. And homemade waterers...

It's an overwhelming amount of information to try and absorb in short order.

This is a great site.

Thank you to those who participate and make it what it is.

Hi Anak.

I'm in So cal too and just starting with ten little chicks. They seem to be fine. Bright eyed and curious. This seems like the ultimate site for advice and friends. Good luck with your chicks. by the way I have to cats (older, about 15 years) and they seem to be indifferent to the new family members. They stare at them but don't get very close. The cats are more interested in naps than in the chicks.
