Newbie in Upstate NY

Actually I am just mere miles from Geneva and the North end of Seneca Lake. It is a great place to come visit and unwind. A ton of great wineries, there about 90 around Seneca and quite a bit around the other two lakes nearby.

My cousins still own the house which is now a rental property. I'd have to win the lottery multiple times to be able to afford to stay there now! It is closer to Watkins Glen. The vacation listing says it's in Himrod. We always just said, "We're going to the lake." It is just beautiful up there. I was born in Rochester but moved to CT when I was 3. We'd go up for summer vacations to visit my grandparents in Fairport and then head down "to the lake" for a few days.
