Newbie info searcher

I have been using this forum for a couple years now, but never signed up as a member until now. Glad to join and keep up-to-date with info from other chicken fans. Searching this forum has already saved one chicken. My little Banty rooster was injured by a dog and through this forum and the information I found I was able to clean him up and help him heal to a full recovery. It was a nasty leg injury. I have also found much info for building a coop! Which I will start in the Spring. I plan on getting our little Banty a few girls this spring to keep him company, since his turkey girlfriend has turned on him! Anyone want a big white turkey hen???

Thank you all for the big Welcome. We are making plans to start the chicken coop this weekend. It should be a pretty good chicken home...
