No, have raised chickens for years. I incubate and raise chickens every year. I started keeping chickens at the age of 5 so now for 41 years
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Down to 28 chickens at the moment.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Leghorns, buff orphingtons, Americana, reds, and barn yard crosses.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Feeding the family fresh eggs, and knowing where our food comes from.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Raising bottle calves, outdoors, coaching youth baseball, and woodworking
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am happily married and have two kids 5 & 8. We have cattle, dogs, and a cat. Coach two Little League teams up until the Corona virus started. We live on 73 acres and work full time jobs on top of running this circus.
