Hi, my name is Tracy and I have been raising chickens and turkeys on and off for 35'ish years. Started in 4-H then siblings then kids and soon nieces. Now I get to do it just for my own pleasure!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Not new, about age 6 I think. Ok so closer to 40 years :/
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
12 right now but ordered 9 rare birds that will be here Saturday. Then I have seasonal meat birds and turkeys.
(3) What breeds do you have?
RIR, PBR, WBR, white leg horn, Dominique, Minorca, lavender Orpington, and Golden sex links. I have ordered some EE, cream leg bar and Swedish flower hen.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Fodder for the girls and hydroponic and container gardening.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 3 adult children, the youngest is 21, two min pins, two cats and volunteer as a master gardener in my spare time. I work for the county as a 911 dispatcher. And I work nights so I will be posting at weird times.
