I too am new to BYC and pretty much the chicken world. I have recently aquired 15 red cuckoo orpington chicks. Can anyone tell which ones might be pullets and cockerels from markings at this age. 2 weeks old. Some have the chipmunk stripe down the back and head with eyeliner around their eyes. Lol. Others are lighter with no markings at all except for the cuckoo effect in their wing feathers. Any help?
