Hello ye all! I hope that i'm posting in the right place! I've pasted the introductory questionnaire and will try to answer clearly;-)
Are you new to chickens
Yes! We have not started yet...
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? None... we're thinking of starting with three and plan to buy them at the local hatchery. We are planning to get some that are ready nearly ready to start hatching.
(3) What breeds do you have? What would be good? We're planning to take the suggestions of the hatchery.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?I was looking into roll away nesting boxes and the writer mentioned this site.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am an artist-mainly printmaking , but recently I've been doing acrylics also. I am planning to start a mini food-forest in the yard of the suburb property we've just purchased. Because the property is small we'll have to plant bushes and coppice the trees.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a husband, four grown-up children and a 9yr old schnauzer. I am retired.
