Newbie looking for some education

Hello, I have just joined. I have never raised ducks before. I will be using the summer and fall to gather this & that, build a duck house, make my acre+ as preditor resistant as I can before locating four Ancona hens to raise as pets in western WA.

Backyard chickens also has a "Duck forum," you can check out. Just scroll down the
Forums (top of page) until what you want comes up. There are also predator threads that give advice on safeguarding your birds. Well worth reading.
