Yep.

Last year Naomi sat on eggs for almost 4 weeks, but they were all dead. I bought her chicks as a reward. Dinah is one of her chicks.

The barring never appeared because I didn't have an option to get a barred breed when buying chicks. The bantam choice at Tractor Supply was silkie or game bird breeds, and I don't want birds with feathered legs or feet. Dinah is an Old English Black Breasted Game Bird (OEBBGB or OEGB).

The Dominiques were black and white as day old chicks, but barring was evident within a couple weeks.

Yeah, I didn’t write that very well - I was trying to show the hen saying that. She’s staring at the chicks like where did you guys come from?
