Expert chicken enablers needed

I have to really fight off chicken math every time I go to TSC for supplies! They have had some really nice breeds this spring. But, I am not buying anymore unvaccinated chicks!

I get some pretty loud looks from my better half when we go in to TSC and I insist on going to look at the chicks they are SOOOOO tempting!!! But, you are right on the no-vax status, plus I haven't been impressed with any I have gotten from TSC. We have a local farm store that gets vaccinated chicks from a different hatchery and they have done super well!

I don't mind private messaging you! I just don't know when we will have everything set up for chicks and more chickens. Something usually happens

I got some chocolate Orpingtons from Rural King last year and have been very happy with them! One hen goes a bit over 8 lbs!

Hahaha! I get it!!! TSC had some great breeds while I was there this morning! Flock size is about perfect right now and everyone gets along pretty well! To many other things to do right now! I fought chicken math off this time but, it will bite me again!
