You are going to need a coop that is 4 sq ft per chicken in size and a run that is 15 sq ft per chicken.
If you end up with a drake, be advised that he can injure or kill a chicken hen by mating her.
Ducks are also very messy and it's better to house them separately from the chickens.

I think I can already hear a bit of a honk... but like I said I'm newWhen ducks are about 4 months old you can tell if it's a male or female by the voice. Females make a good quack noise and makes make a weird honking quack. You can look up videos on YouTube of it though, and have fun
