My 12 week old Khaki x is molting. He has become very irritable and aggressive. He doesn't even want to be picked up and carried around, which usually is something he really enjoys. He spends most of his time now wandering the yard foraging and being generally cranky to any creature he encounters and tries to chase them off, including humans.I know ducks don't feel well during the molt but this is his first molt and I don't know if this is normal. My question is should I raise the protein in his diet? Should this be animal or plant protein (duck weed)? Is it normal for them to be so crabby during the molt? Any advice would be appreciated.
