My family are all newbies with 23 Isa Brown pullets that we've just moved out to their coop from our basement! With the dream of spring coming (another snow storm today) I've been researching the coloured egg layers and love what I've read about their personalities! Not only could I end up with multi- coloured eggs eventually but I could take my girls out with me to garden! (with supervision of course!) My problem is finding a breeder around Kitchener, Ontario. So far I haven't had any success online. Breeds I've been looking for so far are Ameraucana, Cream Legbar, Dorking, Marans, Silkies, and "Favaucanas". Does anyone have any advice and or info for me?
