How old are they and what breed?
if they are getting in neck feathers, the males will have neck feathers with pointy ends The females, neck feathers with rounded ends..

First looks like a pullet, the second is a cockerel.

The Cockrell will have more tail father's and a heavier looking peacomb? Is that how u determine that. I'm trying to learn.

See how thick the white bars are on the second chick? That's because he has two copies of the barring gene, which only males can have.
