Newbie Needs Help

but if she's going to go out anyway, maybe you should just give her lot's of yummy treats and play with her and then let her feed your family...though i'm not sure if i could. but, i'm told my turkens will make a good meal.

We have felt bad for her too for quite some time now. Poor thing doesn't walk around much because it seems to be a struggle for her due to the weight. The family came to a consensus that we won't be eating her, but will make her happy and comfortable for as long as possible.
 
If you stand and watch the chick bins at TSC for a while (not that I would ever do that
hide.gif
), you'll see lots of folks picking up chicks and putting them back. They don't always make it back into the right bin. I bought chicks at TSC last year, and bought two of the White Leghorns that they had in their "Assorted Pullets" bin. They also had Cornish X broilers, right next to them. It's easy for the two to get mixed up by accident.

The Leghorns are GREAT layers, by the way!
