Newbie needs info

My very first egg hatched yesterday. After fully dry, I placed her in the brooder. Is it normal for day old not to be up walking around? Other than really big feet, she appears normal. Please advise. Thank you.

i don't really know what to tell you. your chick isn't moving at all?! my baby chicks usually sleep a lot the first couple of hours or days but they still move around every now and then...

Once I added two other chicks to the brooder, my first chick was up and walking around. Guess she was just lonely.
