Good afternoon! I'm getting some Button Quail on my birthday (soooon) and while I've done as much research as I can, I have a few questions I haven't been able to find the answer to.

- Will button quail readily use a multi-story hutch? I'm planning on converting a rabbit hutch with a "ladder" from the run up to the top level/coop (like most chicken coops and such). I've seen some people keep them in these types of cages, but at the same time I'd heard some people say they don't like them very much. Is one an exception to the general rule? Any tips or tricks on "teaching" them to use the multiple stories?

- I know some people keep quail with finches and pigeons, but can they be kept with small chickens, such as Seramas?

- Any more tips or tricks on encouraging females to brood naturally?

- Will button quail readily use a multi-story hutch? I'm planning on converting a rabbit hutch with a "ladder" from the run up to the top level/coop (like most chicken coops and such). Any tips or tricks on "teaching" them to use the multiple stories? A muti story cage is fine I do not think they will care much one way or the other but it will be harder to catch one if you ever need to and what about cleaning and removing eggs? maybe just use the lower level and then let lower the ramp to see if they go up. You are just getting one pair I hope?!? They are happier that way no matter what size the cage.

- I know some people keep quail with finches and pigeons, but can they be kept with small chickens, such as Seramas? I would not keep them in the same cage as the chicken carry sickness that the quail can not fight.

- Any more tips or tricks on encouraging females to brood naturally? I wish there was a trick but nope some sit and some don't.
