Newbie question about chick weird behavior

I'm extremely new to chicken raising. I have 5 eight week old chicks. I have seen them lay on their sides and kind slide their breast on the ground.It is as if they are trying to get something off of them or scratch. It is sorta disturbing to watch as they seem to be having a fit of some sort. This may be normal behavior but I'm to new to know.

Not to worry my friend. The girls are just dust bathing. I find they are a hoot to watch. They are just doing this out of natural habit. Helps get rid of mites and other creepy crawlies they may pick up in the feathers. Like a dry bath...lol Perfectly normal... Steve

Great, it was kinda scary as it seems they were having a seizure. It's kinda funny to watch now that I know they haven't totally wigged out.
