I use a deep litter method in the coop and it's beginning to look and smell well used. My question is, how do you dispose of it? I have a spot at the bottom of our property where we dump our yard waste. Would it be okay to dump it there? They poop plenty around my garden area so I don't need any more fertilizer...they'll continue to take care of that. [IMG]

I live in a sub-division in a small town. I compost what I can and hide what I can into the yard waste recycle bin. I just pray that I don't get caught. I am not supposed to put animal waste into the bin. I think that they mostly don't want dog poo. But I know that chicken poo it great for compost so I will do it as long as I can. If you know anyone that has a garden you could offer them some too.
