I have 2 two week old chicks Golden Lace Wyandottes
I have on order 1 male chick Silver Lace Wyandottes and 3 female chicks hatching July 20 (2 silver 1 golden)
By the time they come - I will have the second coop completed A- frame coops - home built. I was planning to keep all the goldens in one and the silvers in another - when they are all old enough to live in the coops. Plans say each coop can house 3-4 large birds.
I was thinking this will be okay but I have read some posts about the males and being aggressive towards the females. Does the male need his own house?
I heard and selected the wyandottes because they are suppose to be good egg layers and nice laidback birds.
What do I need to know in regard to the male addition to my girls?
Any advise?
