Blue, sorry to hear about your knee. I am having the worse time with sciatica.
Some days ok but others I am completely disabled.

Youall stay warm. We are lucky here, it’s cold but just 45 with high humidity. And no sun for days. The tule fog is thick.

Back east looks bad, I feel bad for all the animals that can’t come in the house.

I hear you about the sciatica. My lumbar pinched nerve has finally backed off. I can bend over without pain as long as I don't twist and turn too much then it reminds me who is in charge. I know it's there though, just waiting to rise up and bite me again.

Pi has officially learned to jump on the sofa. Life is over as we know it.

Ok, so if myDH needed long term care we would just use his retirement pension. I always thought long term care was when you went in a retirement home. What other types of long term care are there? Where a nurse comes in to car3 for the patient?

I actually have that as an option through my Medicare..extra benefit. Nurse can come and do everything, including taking care of meds. I have Aetna with Medicare.

Actually, after about 3 months of excruciating back pain from a pinched nerve followed by a nasty IBS flare, then both together, I'm feeling pretty good today. Just not doing anything to rock the boat so to speak.

Little confused, nothing new. Did you see Ortho today and if so what's the plan besides unnecessary crutches?

Sorry, I was under the effects of a morphine push and not thinking clearly! The ER dr diagnosed it as a sprain after a CT scan showedg "nothing broken." I'll know more after I see my ortho. I still can't touch it to the ground though.

@microchick, glad to hear you are doing better after having had a hard time with sciatica and IBS, no fun for sure! @h2oratt, hope you get handle on your sciatica soon! Did you ever go to the Good Feet store? They can help with that too.
