I am very new to the chicken and the guinea world. I have 19 hens and roos in a coop, they are 13 weeks old. In my brooder, I have 10 hens and 6 guinea keets, they are 6 weeks old. It's time to introduce the 10 hens to the coop birds but I have a ton of guinea concerns. 1. I have a secure stall in the barn that I was going to put the guineas in, to make their home. If they were raised with the 10 hens, will it be a problem to separate them for their permanent home? 2. Will they fight or hurt the other chickens once they are allowed out to forage, since they don't know those birds? 3. Could I introduce the guineas to the coop and let them live together (it's an exceptionally large coop able to house 35 comfortably foraging)? Or would the roos and Jacks fight? What's the best solution for this situation? Thanks everyone in advance!
