Newbie Question

Hi, I'm still working my way thru all the different message threads, which I just love. If I want to contact someone outside the forum, can someone please tell me what the difference between email and PM (private) is? Thanx!

BYC maintains a mailbox for each of us for free!
You can PM any other BYC member.
If you click on email, it will send you to the member's outside email address. I'll show you. You have a pm.

Welcome, it took me a while to figure out the Forum. Some things I learned: The search button above is handy. The "message" button shows your PM box and you CAN log out if you need to, it is not too easy to see sometimes, and then other times............Oh and when someone posts the word "bump" it gets the message back to the top of the topic or the top of the "recent posts" button. So easy when you KNOW what it means, but it had me stumped for a bit.
Be careful, you can waste away hours on here, like 100's of hours. It is a great place. HenZ

Thanx HenZ! Any tips on navigation here are always helpful. I'm slowly working my thru all the threads. I'll have to try the "bump" - as I have a WTB posted. Any you're right - I've lost alot of sleep in the last couple of weeks - and then dream about all the possibilities!!!
