Hey everyone!

I am getting back into chickens after being out for almost 30 years! I just bought a new Hovabator and turner and now looking for eggs! In the past, I had bantams, but this time I am going to try my hand with LF Partridge Brahmas. I have been reading the boards to see how technology has improved things since I last did this. There have been quite a few changes! I look forward to learning more and having fun!

I too started back to chickens last year after 25 or so years without them. Started with 2 RIR's for some eggs and now have Cochins and BLRW's and lots of eggs in the bator. Expecting a trio of Light Sussex-Austrailian lines and a quad of Pure Coronation Sussex in a few months. Started hatching in October and can't seem to stop. Just love that Chicken Math.

Cool! I have always loved chickens and done well with them. My very first incubator was a round, galvanized, pancake looking thing. My new one is styrofoam. I haven't yet decided if this is progress or "cheapness"!
