Hello all. I have had chicks for 3 days. I researched for over a year and still feel like a scared new mom who knows nothing lol. I am loving this site though.

    WV boy here!
Welcome to BYC! One of the awesome things about poultry is there is always more to learn! I understand it can be a little scary that first time when you're not sure how to do something but at least we have BYC... :D

Anyway, great to have ya here!

Getting chicks for the 1st time can be like anything else that's new...you can research tons but the actuality is a whole other thing, lol. Don't worry, you'll do fine and there are lots of members here to help you out when you need it.

    Best of luck to you!

G’Day from down under 13Bettys [IMG] Welcome!

As you have already received some good advice and links, I will just wish you all the best .. you’ve got this covered!

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun. If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
