1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I will be getting chickens this spring for the first time, I can't wait. My family thinks I am nuts but I have always wanted chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Don't have any now but I want at least 10.
(3) What breeds do you have?
I would like a mixture of breeds

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening, sewing, quilting, reading, tubing down the river, however due to illness somethings are getting hard for me.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share
I have four grown children and four grandchildren, they all live in Michigan two close and two about two hours away. I have one Australian Cattle Dog Tommie she is 2 years old and an awesome dog, I lost a dog last month he was also a ACD and 12 years old, I miss him so. I am retired due to illnesses (lupus). I live in the middle of Michigan on a private trial back in the woods a ways so I have to be careful with my chickens because we have foxes, racoons, oppossums and who knows what else that going to want to make my chickens a snack.
