Hello, I'm Kace and started with a handful of Rhode Island Reds in the spring of 2015. I have since raised a few heritage turkeys. Also, adopted a single polish hen, whom no other bird seems to care for, hence, she is my baby and spoiled.

As of yesterday, I have 9 hatchlings (more to come). They are lavender orpingtons; part of the reason for joining this forum, I look forward to any informative ideas in raising this beautiful breed of bird.

My other hobbies include gardening, sports, and spending time with family and friends along with my "other" family which consists of a knucklehead dog and a couple of barnyard cats.

Thanks to my friend Becky for turning me onto this forum.
